Comprehensive Coverage

Comprehensive coverage in pet insurance works in the same way as it works in human health insurance. A monthly premium should be paid and the insurance will cover the costs of the medical treatments of the pet after deducting the co-pays. It is especially beneficial if the master is expecting large pet medical bills.

Comprehensive coverage provides coverage for physical damage caused to pets by events like fire, theft, damage, vandalism, etc If the pet is said to be continuously insured, then it refers to an insurance coverage that is in force every time without any break or lapse in the coverage for any reason from an insurer or multiple insurers. In this kind of coverage, the treatment costs and other medical bills are completely covered.

Comprehensive coverage generally requires the payment of a deductible when a claim is made. But every state has its own comprehensive insurance laws that usually vary from one state to another. But in a nutshell, this insurance provides coverage against any loss or illness caused to the pet except the loss caused by collision.
